How and when will my digital copy be delivered?
We'll e-mail you your digital Story in a Picture within 3-5 business days. Make sure you provide your e-mail when checking out!

How and when will my canvas be delivered?
As mentioned above, the digital Story in a Picture will be delivered within 3-5 business days. After we receive final approval from you, our Team will work on crafting the canvas for you (this typically takes 7-10 business days, for a total canvas creation + delivery time of 10 - 15 days (could be slightly longer with revisions). 

Can I have revisions done if I'm not satisfied?
Sure! 
Our artists are experienced experts and always do an amazing job, however, sometimes working from a photo we miss the essence of the person and are always ready to make revisions until you are 100% happy with your portrait (additional fees may apply after 2 revisions).You'll have 48 hours after e-mail delivery to request a revision on the portrait. However, make sure you are descriptive when placing your order. Details not described will be assumed, and we may charge for revisions not mentioned when placing order. But if we did not fulfill your request, we will happily revisit it to get it to what you want. Our style is meticulously unique, so your cooperation is necessary to get you your dream Story in a Picture in as little back-and-forth as possible!

When will my canvas be printed and shipped?
Upon receiving your portrait, you'll have 48 hours to approve the portrait (or request revisions). After your approval (if we receive no response after 48 hours we're going to assume it's approved), we'll send your portrait for canvas printing. TIP: MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR SPAM/JUNK FOLDERS AS WELL AS YOUR INBOX FOR COMMUNICATION FROM US.

Can I track my canvas delivery?
Yes! You should receive an email with tracking information when your order is shipped. 

Can I get a refund on my canvas?
Since we print the canvas after receiving your approval and work hard to curate the portrait to your liking, we won't process refunds. However, if your portrait is delivered and there is significant damage or wear, please e-mail us at support@storyinapicture.com with a picture and brief description, and we'll work with you right away! We will not be processing refunds or exchanges for orders currently in transit. 

Why do I need to send additional photos of myself even though, I would only like one recreated?

Our priority is to ensure that our artists can do the best they possibly can in making your portrait as perfect as possible! This is why we would like for our artists to be able to capture you or whoever you would like animated from every angle so we could ensure that we don't miss anything and that we give justice to your portrait!

What currency are Story in a Picture prices?

All prices in our store are denominated in USD. If there's enough demand for international conversions, we'll be happy to add this to the website. Simply drop us a line at support@astoryinapicture.com if you're interested.

What can I have as my background?

We've provided you with a range neutral background colors that you can choose from! We believe our minimalist themes contribute to the aesthetic success of our portraits! Depending on demand, we may include the option for custom backgrounds in the near future, so stay tuned! 

What quality should the photo I send to you be?

Don't worry too much about this - as long as the photo is visible, we'll do our best to craft an accurate illustration of you. If we're having some issues, we'll give you a quick call or email you to sort things out!

I have a large group I need a portrait for?

No problem! Simply drop us an email at support@astoryinapicture.com and we can discuss larger jobs.

Can you add people from other photos into one portrait?

Yes! You can have a custom portrait made with you and your friends/family even if they're not in the same picture! Just send different images of the people you would like to be animated and let our artists do their magic and help you and your family/friends become a Story in a Picture together!

Will I be charged for changes to my order after it's been made?

It is the customer's responsibility to specify all details they would like in their order in the order notes. Any details not included in the order notes will be assumed by our artist and will result in additional charges if the customer requires changes.

There will be a charge for changes up until the second revision. Prices may vary depending on the request.

Can I include my pets as well?

Given that we solely focus on faceless portraits here at Story in a Picture and our artists specialize in human figures, we recommend not including your pets to ensure that we can deliver the most ideal product to your satisfaction. However, if you would like to include your pets, go for it! Please just make sure to include them as an additional figure when checking out.

Returns and Exchanges

We work very hard to incorporate your features while also sticking to your specific requests. Due to the fact that everything is customized, we cannot accept any cancellation requests after 24 Hours of placing your order.

If the merchandise is damaged or broken, we will provide a replacement product. We only request that you share an image of the damaged product so we can share it with our printing company.
